Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Peaders ("Peaders", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit www.peaders.com (the "Site") or contact us. We are committed to handling your data lawfully, transparently and only for the purposes described here.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit the contact form or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, company and message.
- Chat assistant. Messages you send to our on-site assistant ("Ada") are processed to generate a reply. Do not share sensitive personal or confidential information in the chat.
- Usage data. We collect anonymised, aggregated analytics (pages viewed, approximate region, device/browser type) via privacy-friendly analytics to understand how the Site is used. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiries and provide the services you request.
- To send you our newsletter, where you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To operate, secure, maintain and improve the Site.
- To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. Legal bases
Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we rely on: your consent (e.g. newsletter sign-up); our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and improving the Site; and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time.
4. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted providers who process it on our behalf under appropriate safeguards:
- Vercel — website hosting and analytics.
- Migadu — email delivery for contact-form messages and correspondence.
- Anthropic — processing of chat-assistant messages to generate responses.
Some providers may process data outside your country; where required, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Data retention
We keep enquiry and contact information only as long as necessary to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping, then delete or anonymise it. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@peaders.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
7. Security
We use technical and organisational measures — including HTTPS encryption in transit, strict content-security and framing policies, and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
8. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision; material changes will be highlighted on this page.
